November 11th Bouquet was a film adapted from a poem written by Saskatchewan poet George Grassick about his father who fought in World War II. The period piece is set in post-war Regina, in the early 50’s, and is a moving tale about a young boy remembering the time his father met up with a World War II colleague - just outside the Legislative building. The film interweaves together the reading of the poem by George and a young boy, along with dramatical re-enactments producing a powerful aesthetic and message. The film was selected to screen at the 2021 Directors Cut International Film Festival.
