Hélène Grimaud Plays Bartok

This film is a sequel to a film I made two years earlier called String Theory. I am fascinated in the magic relationship between image and music. In both films, I incorporated still images shot of fall leaves and colours, with an attempt to make the film aesthetically ‘dance’. Both films are labour intensive as both are comprised of hundreds of individual shots (images). I'm sure I will attempt this type of film again until I get it exactly the way I like.
